International Advanced Energy Science Research and Education Center (IAESREC) will hold Science Cafe（IAESREC Science Cafe）from this semester. In thisScience Cafe, we would like to make an opportunity to discuss about science freely with coffee and snacks with fun. Each time, we will invite a speaker to provide a topic. The speakers will explain about their topics in a simple way for us including a people from different research backgrounds. Multidiscipline analysis based on big data of academic publication and generating novel research ideas using computational intelligence

[Abstract]

The number of academic publication per year is getting larger and larger, which are impossible to read manually. In this presentation, “bibliometrics” will be introduced, which statistically analyze whole publication data and evaluate each research area computationally and objectively. As a technique of bibliometrics, I will introduce examples that generate novel research ideas by bridging different research areas and comparing similar research areas. The topic of this presentation is related to all research areas. Please join us!
