II. Joining and Enrolling in the Education Unit
1. Pre-requisites
to join and enroll in the Education Unit
Students in their doctoral courses and
registered as students pursuing studies in the following research departments can
register their participation in this Education Unit by simply joining in
courses on the basis of their current registration for study in those research
departments
Therefore, independent from their degree status
in the research department(s) where they are currently registered, such
students will receive from this Education Program a Certificate which confirms
either their completion of this Program or else they will be given recognition
for the number of units that they have acquired during their participation in
the Program.

2. Enrolment Procedure
a. Enrolling
to join the Education
Unit for new academic year
Students wishing to join
this Education Unit for the first time should consult with their teaching advisor
before proceeding with their registration for participation. Application form (Form 1) is to be submitted within the Application
periods (Term I and/or II).@ Those who have already joined the Education
Unit in the previous academic years are not required to submit an
application.@
The result of the
enrolment application submitted is determined by a panel system.

Students who wish to terminate
their training once they have obtained the units prescribed may submit a
Completion Certificate application form (Form 2a) to
the above-mentioned office, after having obtained approval from their teaching
advisors.
Students who
wish to withdraw from the Education Unit may submit a Withdrawal Request form (Form 2b) to the above-mentioned office, after obtaining
approval from their teaching advisors.
