III. Research-related Financial Support

1. Students who have registered to join the Education Unit are eligible for CGOE employment as an RA or TA (applications are lodged by their teaching advisors).

2. Students who have registered to join the Education Unit can receive financial assistance for travels associated with presentations of their research. For traveling expenses claims, Form 5a should be used. (A Travel Report (Form 5b) should be submitted within 3 days after returning to the Education Unit).

3. Based on the research plan they have submitted to their particular research group, students participating in the Education Program unit: "International Energy Seminars (group-research)" are eligible to receive individual grants for essential research expenses.　 The maximum amount was 1.5 million yen per annum in the fiscal year of 2009.
