Students, who
have registered and joined the Education Unit and have completed at least 14
units from the following subjects (including the 9 mandatory units) within the
expected participation period, are recognized as graduates
of the Education Program, and will be awarded with a certificate to that
effect.

However, neither certificate can ever be reissued.
2. Planning Onefs
Participation in the Education Program
For each of the
curricula they consider enrolling for (i.e. courses of their department/major
and/or of this program), students should work out a reasonable participation
plan that is within their means to meet the curriculum demands. Therefore,
students are advised to study the relevant participation handbooks and
understand the requirements of said curricula thoroughly.
Moreover, students
should by all means obtain their teaching advisorfs guidance and approval
before submitting their application for participation in a certain
subject/unit.
3. Performance Evaluation
The method used
to evaluate studentsf performance in each subject depends on the teaching staff
in charge of the subjects concerned.
4. Participation Period
Students in their
doctoral course: Students should submit an application form for participation in
subjects that he/she wishes to take up for each semester of each academic year.
5. Registering for
participation in this academic year
Applications
for participation in the subjects available this academic year (Form 3a and Form 3b) are to be
submitted as follows:

first enrolling for the year) for both terms: enrolment for both Seminars I and
II must be done concurrently, even though attendance to each will be
consecutive, with preconditions for receiving the full financial assistance
provided. Enrolling for only 1 semester entitles the applicant to only half the
specified amounts of said grants.
6. GCOE Program:
Recognition of Units
Whether or not
the units for which accreditation earned for the subjects that are part of this
program can be recognized as counting toward the completion of the major course
provided by the research department to which the student belongs rests with the
decision of relevant departments. However, when such recognition can be
extended in order to homologate these program units, the relevant research
department requires a separate procedure of registration of
the subject(s) concerned.
