Mr. Tomoya Kawazu and Mr. Rei Shichijo received the Young PresentationAwards at the 42nd Annual JPFR Meeting

At the 42nd Annual meeting of the Plasma and Fusion Research Society of
Japan, Mr. Tomoya Kawazu presented a paper entitled “Plasma beta dependence of turbulent transport driven by trapped electron modes”, and Mr. Rei Shichijo presented a paper entitled “Identification of micro-scale instabilities in fusion plasmas using dynamic mode decomposition”.
Both students received the Young Presentation Award of the Plasma and Fusion Research Society of Japan.
