Graduate School of Energy Science offers an ordinary course where classes and research instructions are made in Japanese, and International Energy Science Course (IESC) where they are made in English. The following information is for IESC Masters degree program. Please refer to the Japanese website for the details of the ordinary course.

| Education requirement | a) A good bachelors/first degree from a recognised higher education institution or b) A good bachelors degree from a university in Japan as an international/ non-Japanese student. |
| Language requirement | Proficiency in academic English required. Applicants whose first language is NOT English must submit an official score report of an internationally recognized EFL test. IELTS academic module and TOEFL are required. IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL iBT 80+ are recommended. |
