On November 30, 2023, at the 40th Annual Meeting of The Japan Society of Plasma Science and Nuclear Fusion Research (JSPF) held at the Aiina Iwate Prefectural Information Exchange Center, Shuuhei Okuda, a first-year Ph.D. student in the Fundamental Energy Science Dept., gave a poster presentation titled “Development of a Global Gyrokinetic Code for Tokamak Edge Plasmas” and received the Young Scientist Presentation Award.
