Prof. Haruo Kawamoto of the Department of Socio-Environmental Energy Science has been awarded the 2nd (FY2022) Lignin Society Prize for his long-standing research on the molecular mechanism of lignin pyrolysis.

Mr. Masahiro Murayama received the Human Interface Symposium 2022 Best Presentation Award

At Human Interface Symposium 2022 held at Kansai University on August 31-September 2, 2022, Mr. Masahiro Murayama, a second-year master’s student in the Department of Socio-Environmental Energy Science, gave a presentation titled “A Study on Improvement of Accuracy of Depth Image Using Deep Learning” and received the Human Interface Symposium Best Presentation Award.
Ms. Yao Yilin was awarded the Best Poster Award at the 29th Annual Meeting of the Cellulose Society of Japan.

At the 29th Annual Meeting of the Cellulose Society of Japan, held on July 21 and 22, 2022, Ms. Yao Yilin, a doctoral student in the Department of Socio-Environmental Energy Science, was awarded the Best Poster Award for her presentation titled “Effect of reaction pressure on wood decomposition in water-added supercritical methanol treatment”
