In the 22nd IAESREC Science Cafe, we invite Dr. Matthew S. Turner (Professor at Warwick University, UK) and Dr. Simon K. Schnyder (Assistant Professor at University of Tokyo, Japan).
Both are theoretical physicists conducting fascinating research using physics models to understand societal phenomena like the COVID-19 pandemic. Their presentations will offer valuable insights into their research and their extensive experience collaborating on UK-Japan research projects.
Following the seminar, there will be a Q&A session with afternoon tea (tea and scones provided), followed by an optional informal networking event at a British pub in Sanjo-Keihan.
