2024年2月5日、マレーシア工科大学（Universiti Teknologi Malaysia）より教授及び研究とマネジメントを担当する研究オフィサー合わせて14名がエネルギー科学研究科を訪問しました。一行は、平藤研究科長をはじめ、Maclellan教授（国際交流委員会委員長）、大垣教授（エネルギー理工学研究所）および斎藤URA（KURA）と面会し、それぞれの組織や研究・教育プログラム、研究環境についての情報共有と、今後の協力について協議を行いました。その後、吉田キャンパス内のエネルギー科学研究科の4つの研究室を訪問し、研究現場の視察を行いました。今回の訪問が、今後の両者の連携のきっかけとなることを期待します。

On February 5th, 2024, the Graduate School of Energy Science received a visit from 14 professors and research officers from University of Technology, Malaysia (UTM). The group met with Professor Hirato (Dean of the Graduate School), and representatives from the school and KURA to share information about the respective institutions and programs.
They also visited four laboratories on the Yoshida campus. Both parties hope that this visit will be the seed of future collaboration.
